ABOUT ME
I am a graphic designer and photographer. Through my experience in art, I have learned the importance of genuine design and communication. Experimenting with digital photography, environmental design, and print, I hope to use my art not only as an expression of myself but also as a place for others to relate and want to explore their own experiences.
FEMPIRE
My senior thesis features the creation of a tattoo studio strictly for female-identifying individuals. This work shows branding and environmental design for the hypothetical brand Fempire.
Fempire is focused on curating a safe space for women that are interested but may be too scared of overwhelmed to start in their tattoo journeys. I hope to fight the traditional stigmas behind tattoos and instead honor them for their value of self-expression.
A significant amount of Fempire products live through parody merchandise, showing a large range of interests as well as forcing stereotypically gendered brands to include the women of Fempire in their narrative.
